CompressPic is a client-side image compression tool that prioritizes your privacy. We have designed our service to ensure that your images never leave your device and we collect no personal information.
What We Don't Collect

How CompressPic Works
- Local Processing: All image compression happens directly in your web browser using JavaScript
- No Network Transfer: Your images never travel across the internet to our servers
- Temporary Memory: Images exist only in your browser's temporary memory during processing
- Immediate Download: Compressed images are downloaded directly from your browser
- Automatic Cleanup: All image data is cleared when you close the browser tab
Technical Information
Browser Storage
We may use local browser storage only to remember your compression settings (quality level, max width) for a better user experience. This data never leaves your device.
Web Workers
We use Web Workers for efficient image processing. This technology runs in your browser and doesn't communicate with external servers.
Third-Party Services
CompressPic uses the following third-party services:
- Font Loading: Google Fonts for typography (minimal data exchange)
- Image Processing: Browser-image-compression library (runs locally)
- Hosting: Content delivery network for serving the application files
None of these services have access to your images or personal data.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there's no personal information to access, modify, or delete. You maintain complete control over your images at all times.

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Modified" date. Continued use of CompressPic after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
